In the beginning of the imitation project there was the question how and if imitations can be reckognized as such. To which extent are people willing to acknowledge imitations as independent objects/works and eventually feel prompted to base another imitation on them?

Imitations are omnipresent, in manifold forms they are intentional and welcome. Imitation is a step forward and at the same time it means an abidance in potentiality - until the original comes in reach or in striking distance. Imitation works bottom-up. Life is imitation and imitation is life.

All recordings on this album are from live performaces. No further processing or mastering!
